The Alleghany Cougars (Covington, VA) basketball knocked off the host Glenvar Highlanders (Salem, VA), 55-38 in Monday's non-league test.
The Cougars (19-1) will now prepare for their test against Radford (Radford, VA). The Bobcats go into the non-league test with a 12-3 record.
The Highlanders now own a 8-11 record. They play next when they host William Byrd for a non-league test on Wednesday, February 7. Glenvar will encounter a Terriers squad coming off a 48-41 non-league loss to Northside (Roanoke, VA). The Terriers record now stands at 9-11.
