With the victory, Giles improves its record to 14-5 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Galax (Galax, VA) to confront the Maroon Tide in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 7. The Maroon Tide come into the challenge with a record of 8-8.

Next up, the Bears confront the Grayson County Blue Devils (Independence, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 7. Bland County will attempt to improve on its 2-11 season record.
