The Patrick Henry Patriots basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Franklin County Eagles to 52 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Monday.

The Patriots now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Blacksburg for a non-league contest on Friday, February 16. Patrick Henry will battle a Bruins team coming off a 63-48 non-league win over Auburn (Riner, VA). The Bruins record now stands at 14-7.

The Eagles (14-6) will now prepare for their contest against Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA). The Cavaliers enter the non-league contest with a 5-14 record. In their last contest, Lord Botetourt was defeated by Northside (Roanoke, VA), 67-42, in a non-league bout.
