The Clear Brook Wolverines (Friendswood, TX) basketball were winner over the visiting Brazoswood Buccaneers (Clute, TX), 68-53 in Wednesday's league bout.

The Wolverines now possess a 19-14 record. They play next when they travel to Clear Springs for a 6A Region III District 24 bout on Saturday, February 8. Clear Brook will play a Chargers team coming off a 57-49 league win over Clear Creek (League City, TX). The Chargers record now stands at 29-4.

With the loss, Brazoswood falls to 10-20 on the campaign. The Buccaneers host Clear Lake (Houston, TX) to play the Falcons in a 6A Region III District 24 bout on Saturday, February 8. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 22-12. Clear Lake won 50-47 in their recent league bout against Clear Falls (League City, TX)
