North Carolina High School Basketball - Clayton victorious over Cleveland

In Wednesday's league contest, the host Clayton Comets basketball team scored a good 62-53 triumph over the Cleveland Rams.

The Comets (11-8) will now prepare for their contest against Fuquay - Varina (Fuquay-Varina, NC). The Bengals go into the 4A Greater Neuse River contest with a 3-18 record. In their last contest, Fuquay - Varina was toppled by South Garner (Garner, NC), 67-56, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Rams confront the Garner Trojans (Garner, NC) in a 4A Greater Neuse River contest, on Friday, February 7. Cleveland will attempt to better on its 15-5 season record. The Trojans go into the contest with a 18-2 record after their 67-62 league win over Fuquay - Varina (Fuquay-Varina, NC).
