The Winooski Spartans basketball squad (Winooski, VT), was nudged 42-41 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Danville Bears (Danville, VT)
With the victory, Danville advances its record to 16-5 on the year. The Bears host Blue Mountain (Wells River, VT) to meet the Bucks in a non-league battle on Wednesday, February 12. The Bucks enter the battle with a record of 3-10.
The Spartans now own a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bellows Free Academy for a Mountain battle on Thursday, February 6. Winooski will meet a Bullets squad coming off a 72-70 league win over Stowe (Stowe, VT). The Bullets record now stands at 6-9.
