The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Dymally Challengers (Los Angeles, CA) and the visiting Port of Los Angeles Polar Bears (San Pedro, CA), observed Dymally's basketball team knock off Port of Los Angeles by a score of 61-52.

The Challengers (1-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Harbor Teacher (Wilmington, CA). The Monarchs come into the Imperial challenge with a 14-8 record. In their last challenge, Harbor Teacher prevailed over Locke (Los Angeles, CA), 53-42, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Polar Bears encounter the Jordan Bulldogs (Los Angeles, CA) in a Imperial challenge, on Friday, February 7. Port of Los Angeles will attempt to improve on its 3-13 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 18-5 record after their 66-63 non-league loss to George Washington Prep (Los Angeles, CA).
