The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Westchester Comets (Los Angeles, CA) and the host Fairfax Lions (Los Angeles, CA), observed Westchester's basketball team knock off Fairfax by a score of 75-67.

The Comets (15-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Palisades (Pacific Palisades, CA). The Dolphins come into the Western challenge with a 17-8 record. In their last challenge, Palisades prevailed over Hamilton (Los Angeles, CA), 64-49, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Lions encounter the Hamilton Yankees (Los Angeles, CA) in a Western challenge, on Friday, February 7. Fairfax will attempt to improve on its 9-13 season record. The Yankees come into the challenge with a 10-15 record after their 64-49 league loss to Palisades (Pacific Palisades, CA).
