Westside Christian Eagles (Lake Oswego, OR) supporters left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Horizon Christian Hawks (Tualatin, OR), 54-42 in a league match.
With the victory, Westside Christian advances its record to 19-0 on the year. The Eagles host Cascade (Turner, OR) to meet the Cougars in a non-league match on Friday, February 7. The Cougars enter the match with a record of 14-3. Cascade won 67-44 in their recent league match against Sweet Home (Sweet Home, OR)
The Hawks now own a 6-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host De La Salle North Catholic for a 3A Lewis & Clark match on Friday, February 7. Horizon Christian will meet a Knights squad coming off a 60-42 league win over Portland Adventist Academy (Portland, OR). The Knights record now stands at 8-11.
