In Wednesday's league test, the Lord Botetourt Cavaliers (Daleville, VA) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Staunton River Golden Eagles (Moneta, VA), by a score of 53-35.
Next, the Cavaliers encounter the Northside Vikings (Roanoke, VA) in a Blue Ridge test, on Friday, February 7. Lord Botetourt will attempt to improve on its 9-11 season record. The Vikings come into the test with a 18-1 record after their 80-42 non-league win over George Washington (Danville, VA).
The Golden Eagles (8-13) will now prepare for their test against William Campbell (Naruna, VA). The Generals come into the non-league test with a 3-15 record. In their last test, William Campbell went down by Chatham (Chatham, VA), 74-24, in a league test.
