Virginia High School Basketball - Manchester sneaks past Powhatan

The Manchester Lancers (Midlothian, VA) basketball edged the host Powhatan Indians (Powhatan, VA), 59-54 in Wednesday's league bout.
The Lancers now possess a 12-5 record. They play next when they travel to Richmond City School of the Arts for a Dominion bout on Saturday, February 8. Manchester will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 78-25 league loss to Monacan (Richmond, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-11.
With the loss, Powhatan falls to 11-6 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Huguenot (Richmond, VA) to play the Falcons in a Dominion bout on Friday, February 7. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 3-9. Huguenot lost 68-49 in their recent league bout against L.C. Bird (Chesterfield, VA)
