The Starr's Mill Panthers basketball team scored 54 points and limited the host McIntosh Chiefs to 40 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Panthers now have a 12-12 record. They play next when they host Northside for a AAAA Region 3 game on Friday, February 7. Starr's Mill will confront a Patriots team coming off a 61-50 league loss to Mundy's Mill (Jonesboro, GA). The Patriots record now stands at 8-15.

With the loss, McIntosh falls to 7-16 on the campaign. The Chiefs host Lovejoy (Lovejoy, GA) to confront the Wildcats in a AAAAA Region 3 game on Friday, February 7. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 10-14. Lovejoy won 53-52 in their recent league game against Northgate (Newnan, GA)
