In Wednesday's league test, the Missisquoi Valley Thunderbirds (Swanton, VT) basketball squad got by the host Milton Yellowjackets (Milton, VT), by a final score of 45-43.
Next, the Thunderbirds clash with the Middlebury Tigers (Middlebury, VT) in a non-league test, on Saturday, February 8. Missisquoi Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record. The Tigers come into the test with a 7-8 record after their 55-50 non-league win over Enosburg Falls (Enosburg Falls, VT).
The Yellowjackets (4-11) will now prepare for their test against Vergennes (Vergennes, VT). The Commodores come into the Lake test with a 10-5 record. In their last test, Vergennes held off Mt. Abraham (Bristol, VT), 52-33, in a league test.
