Ohio High School Basketball - Oak Hill nips Western

In Wednesday's league contest, the host Oak Hill Oaks basketball team scored a close 57-51 triumph over the Western Indians.
The Oaks (11-8) will now prepare for their contest against Northwest (McDermott, OH). The Mohawks go into the Southern Ohio II contest with a 10-8 record. In their last contest, Northwest was tipped by Symmes Valley (Willow Wood, OH), 58-52, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Indians battle the South Gallia Rebels (Crown City, OH) in a Southern Ohio II contest, on Friday, February 7. Western will attempt to better on its 10-7 season record. The Rebels go into the contest with a 4-13 record after their 64-60 non-league loss to Southern (Racine, OH).
