Maryland High School Basketball - Our Lady of Mount Carmel holds off St. Frances Academy

The Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cougars basketball team scored 63 points and limited the visiting St. Frances Academy Panthers to 58 in the Cougars league triumph on Wednesday.
The Cougars now possess a 25-4 record. They play next when they host Loyola Blakefield for a MIAA A - Red game on Friday, February 7. Our Lady of Mount Carmel will confront a Dons team coming off a 92-58 league win over Pallotti (Laurel, MD). The Dons record now stands at 17-13.
With the loss, St. Frances Academy falls to 22-6 on the campaign. The Panthers host McDonogh (Owings Mills, MD) to confront the Eagles in a MIAA A - Red game on Friday, February 7. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 13-9. McDonogh won 57-49 in their recent league game against Calvert Hall (Baltimore, MD)
