The Stewart County Royal Knights basketball squad (Lumpkin, GA), was nudged 60-59 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Quitman County Hornets (Georgetown, GA)
With the victory, Quitman County advances its record to 5-19 on the year. The Hornets travel to Randolph-Clay (Cuthbert, GA) to meet the Red Devils in a A D2 Region 1 battle on Thursday, February 6. The Red Devils enter the battle with a record of 21-2. Randolph-Clay won 81-54 in their recent league battle against Quitman County (Georgetown, GA)
The Royal Knights now own a 2-16 record.
