The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Sumner Academy Sabres (Kansas City, KS) and the visiting Wyandotte Bulldogs (Kansas City, KS), observed Sumner Academy's basketball team overwhelm Wyandotte by a margin of 68-39.

The Sabres (5-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Atchison (Atchison, KS). The Phoenix come into the Meadowlark challenge with a 8-5 record. In their last challenge, Atchison trounced Schlagle (Kansas City, KS), 58-44, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Highland Park Scots (Topeka, KS) in a Meadowlark challenge, on Friday, February 7. Wyandotte will attempt to better on its 0-12 season record. The Scots come into the challenge with a 14-0 record after their 67-50 non-league win over West (Topeka, KS).
