The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Bear River Bruins (Grass Valley, CA) and the visiting Lincoln Fighting Zebras (Lincoln, CA), observed Bear River's basketball team overwhelm Lincoln by a score of 47-20.
The Bruins (14-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Oakmont (Roseville, CA). The Vikings come into the challenge with a 6-19 record. In their last challenge, Oakmont trounced Center (Antelope, CA), 52-14, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Fighting Zebras battle the Wheatland Pirates (Wheatland, CA) in a challenge, on Thursday, February 6. Lincoln will attempt to improve on its 9-14 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 14-6 record after their 73-38 league win over Mira Loma (Sacramento, CA).
