The Maroons now possess a 7-17 record. They play next when they host Alton for a Southwestern bout on Thursday, February 6. Belleville West will play a Redbirds team coming off a 60-48 non-league loss to Incarnate Word Academy (St. Louis, MO). The Redbirds record now stands at 24-2.

With the loss, Cahokia falls to 2-19 on the campaign. The Comanches host Carbondale (Carbondale, IL) to play the Terriers in a South Seven bout on Saturday, February 8. The Terriers go into the bout with a record of 14-13. Carbondale won 47-46 in their recent league bout against Marion (Marion, IL)
