The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Northern Garrett Huskies (Accident, MD) and the host Bishop Walsh Spartans (Cumberland, MD), observed Northern Garrett's basketball team overwhelm Bishop Walsh by a score of 59-23.
The Huskies (8-8) will now prepare for their challenge against East Hardy (Baker, WV). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 8-6 record. In their last challenge, East Hardy trounced Tygarts Valley (Mill Creek, WV), 43-35, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Spartans encounter the Turkeyfoot Valley Area Rams (Confluence, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 8. Bishop Walsh will attempt to improve on its 3-10 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 10-6 record after their 57-47 league win over Shade (Cairnbrook, PA).
