Virginia High School Basketball - Broadway triumphant over Rocktown

The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Broadway Gobblers (Broadway, VA) and the visiting Rocktown Raptors (Harrisonburg, VA), observed Broadway's basketball team overwhelm Rocktown by a score of 57-16.
The Gobblers (14-4) will now prepare for their challenge against East Rockingham (Elkton, VA). The Eagles come into the Valley challenge with a 16-2 record. In their last challenge, East Rockingham trounced William Monroe (Stanardsville, VA), 46-23, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Raptors encounter the Spotswood Trailblazers (Penn Laird, VA) in a Valley challenge, on Friday, February 7. Rocktown will attempt to improve on its 0-11 season record. The Trailblazers come into the challenge with a 16-3 record after their 52-26 league win over Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA).
