North Carolina High School Basketball - Currituck County holds off Hertford County

February 5, 2025: Ahoskie, NC 27910

The Currituck County Knights basketball team scored 39 points and limited the host Hertford County Bears to 35 in the Knights league triumph on Wednesday.

The Knights now possess a 17-4 record. They play next when they host Pasquotank County for a 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal game on Friday, February 7. Currituck County will confront a Panthers team coming off a 42-38 league win over Camden County (Camden, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 7-11.

With the loss, Hertford County falls to 7-11 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Camden County (Camden, NC) to confront the Bruins in a 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal game on Friday, February 7. The Bruins go into the game with a record of 1-16. Camden County lost 42-38 in their recent league game against Pasquotank County (Elizabeth City, NC)
