The Discovery Warriors (Sylmar, CA) basketball edged the host Magnolia Science Academy Reseda Warriors (Reseda, CA), 28-27 in Wednesday's league bout.

The Warriors now possess a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology for a Central Valley bout on Friday, February 7. Discovery will play a Griffins team coming off a 27-26 league loss to Lake Balboa College Prep (Lake Balboa, CA). The Griffins record now stands at 10-4.

With the loss, Magnolia Science Academy Reseda falls to 1-9 on the campaign. The Warriors host Sun Valley Magnet (Sun Valley, CA) to play the Pioneers in a Central Valley bout on Friday, February 7.
