The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Lebanon Pioneers (Lebanon, VA) and the host Richlands Blue Tornado (Richlands, VA), observed Lebanon's basketball team knock off Richlands by a score of 46-29.

The Pioneers (7-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Graham (Bluefield, VA). The G-Men come into the Southwest challenge with a 12-4 record. In their last challenge, Graham prevailed over Richlands (Richlands, VA), 73-33, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Blue Tornado battle the Virginia High Bearcats (Bristol, VA) in a Southwest challenge, on Friday, February 7. Richlands will attempt to improve on its 5-15 season record. The Bearcats come into the challenge with a 8-12 record after their 50-16 league win over Tazewell (Tazewell, VA).
