New York High School Basketball - Waterloo holds off Penn Yan Academy

In Wednesday's league contest, the visiting Waterloo Tigers basketball team scored a close 53-48 triumph over the Penn Yan Academy Mustangs.
The Tigers (12-4) will now prepare for their contest against Mynderse Academy (Seneca Falls, NY). The Blue Devils go into the Section 5 Finger Lakes - East contest with a 6-7 record. In their last contest, Mynderse Academy was tipped by Palmyra-Macedon (Palmyra, NY), 48-32, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Mustangs confront the Bloomfield Bombers (Bloomfield, NY) in a Section 5 Finger Lakes - East contest, on Friday, February 7. Penn Yan Academy will attempt to better on its 8-9 season record. The Bombers go into the contest with a 11-5 record after their 64-59 league loss to Newark (Newark, NY).
