The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Stewart County Royal Knights (Lumpkin, GA) and the visiting Quitman County Hornets (Georgetown, GA), observed Stewart County's basketball team knock off Quitman County by a score of 52-41.

The Royal Knights (11-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Pelham (Pelham, GA). The Hornets come into the A D2 Region 1 challenge with a 12-9 record. In their last challenge, Pelham prevailed over Pataula Charter Academy (Edison, GA), 65-23, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Hornets battle the Randolph-Clay Red Devils (Cuthbert, GA) in a A D2 Region 1 challenge, on Thursday, February 6. Quitman County will attempt to improve on its 1-22 season record. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a 18-6 record after their 60-35 league win over Mitchell County (Camilla, GA).
