Connecticut High School Basketball - Woodland Regional can't hold off Seymour

Seymour Wildcats (Seymour, CT) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Woodland Regional Hawks (Beacon Falls, CT), 49-44 in a league match.

With the victory, Seymour upgrades its record to 13-3 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Ansonia (Ansonia, CT) to face the Chargers in a non-league match on Friday, February 7. The Chargers enter the match with a record of 5-4.

The Hawks now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ansonia for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 11. Woodland Regional will face a Chargers squad coming off a 61-55 non-league loss to Seymour (Seymour, CT). The Chargers record now stands at 5-5.
