California High School Basketball - Sweetwater overwhelmed by Southwest SD

February 5, 2025: National City, CA 91950

The Southwest SD Raiders bounced the host Sweetwater Red Devils basketball squad by a final score of 50-25 in Wednesday's league outing.

Next, the Raiders clash with the Tri-City Christian Eagles (Vista, CA) in a non-league outing, on Friday, February 7. Southwest SD will attempt to upgrade on its 14-8 season record. The Eagles come into the outing with a 12-3 record after their 60-32 league win over Escondido Adventist Academy (Escondido, CA).

The Red Devils (5-12) will now prepare for their outing against Castle Park (Chula Vista, CA). The Trojans come into the Metro - Pacific outing with a 10-12 record. In their last outing, Castle Park routed San Ysidro (San Diego, CA), 39-19, in a league outing.
