In Wednesday's non-league test, the Loomis Chaffee School Pelicans (Windsor, CT) ice hockey squad bounced the visiting Frederick Gunn Highlanders (Washington, CT), by a final score of 10-0.
Next, the Pelicans face the Cushing Academy Penguins (Ashburnham, MA) in a non-league test, on Friday, February 14. Loomis Chaffee School will attempt to upgrade on its 17-1 season record. The Penguins come into the test with a 3-2 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Berkshire School (Sheffield, MA).
The Highlanders (9-9) will now prepare for their match against Hoosac (Hoosick, NY). The Owls enter the non-league match with a 0-2 record. In their last match, Hoosac was ripped by Berkshire School (Sheffield, MA), 7-0, in a non-league match.
