The Westminster School Martlets edged the visiting Pomfret School Griffins ice hockey squad by a tally of 1-0 in Wednesday's non-league match.
Next, the Martlets clash with the Deerfield Academy Big Green (Deerfield, MA) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, February 12. Westminster School will attempt to improve on its 2-14 season record. The Big Green enter the match with a 13-3 record after their 4-1 league win over St. Paul's (Concord, NH).
The Griffins (1-7) will now prepare for their match against Berkshire School (Sheffield, MA). The Bears enter the non-league match with a 9-6 record. In their last match, Berkshire School held off Hotchkiss School (Lakeville, CT), 3-2, in a non-league match.
