The Auburn Eagles bounced the visiting Eastern Montgomery Mustangs basketball squad by a final score of 43-14 in Wednesday's non-league outing.
Next, the Eagles clash with the George Wythe Maroons (Wytheville, VA) in a non-league outing, on Friday, February 7. Auburn will attempt to upgrade on its 8-2 season record.
The Mustangs (2-16) will now prepare for their outing against Bland County (Rocky Gap, VA). The Bears enter the non-league outing with a 1-4 record. In their last outing, Bland County was overwhelmed by Giles (Pearisburg, VA), 27-24, in a non-league outing.
