The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Newark Memorial Cougars (Newark, CA) and the host Kennedy Titans (Fremont, CA), observed Newark Memorial's basketball team overwhelm Kennedy by a score of 33-6.

The Cougars (7-14) will now prepare for their challenge against James Logan (Union City, CA). The Colts come into the challenge with a 2-11 record. In their last challenge, James Logan was routed by Irvington (Fremont, CA), 50-17, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Titans battle the Moreau Catholic Mariners (Hayward, CA) in a challenge, on Friday, February 7. Kennedy will attempt to improve on its 4-16 season record.
