Fans at Wednesday's league battle between the Argonaut Mustangs (Jackson, CA) and the host Galt Warriors (Galt, CA), saw Argonaut's soccer squad hold off Galt by a count of 1-0.

The Mustangs (15-0) will now prepare for their battle against Rosemont (Sacramento, CA). The Wolverines enter the battle with a 5-8 record. In their last battle, Rosemont was edged by Liberty Ranch (Galt, CA), 2-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Warriors confront the Union Mine Diamondbacks (El Dorado, CA) in a battle, on Friday, February 7. Galt will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record. The Diamondbacks enter the battle with a 4-6 record after their 2-1 league loss to Amador (Sutter Creek, CA).
