The Exeter Monarchs edged the visiting Kerman Lions soccer team by a tally of 2-1 in Wednesday's league game.
Next, the Monarchs face the Washington Union Panthers (Fresno, CA) in a game, on Friday, February 7. Exeter will attempt to advance on its 6-6 season record.
The Lions (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Sierra Pacific (Hanford, CA). The Golden Bears enter the non-league game with a 10-4 record. In their last game, Sierra Pacific held off Immanuel (Reedley, CA), 4-0, in a league game.
