Fans at Wednesday's league battle between the La Costa Canyon Mavericks (Carlsbad, CA) and the visiting Canyon Crest Academy Ravens (San Diego, CA), saw La Costa Canyon's soccer squad knock off Canyon Crest Academy by a score of 3-0.

The Mavericks (6-5) will now prepare for their battle against Torrey Pines (San Diego, CA). The Falcons enter the Coastal (NCC) battle with a 10-4 record. In their last battle, Torrey Pines tipped Carlsbad (Carlsbad, CA), 2-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Ravens confront the Rancho Buena Vista Longhorns (Vista, CA) in a Coastal (NCC) battle, on Friday, February 7. Canyon Crest Academy will attempt to improve on its 2-14 season record. The Longhorns enter the battle with a 8-3 record after their 2-0 league loss to Carlsbad (Carlsbad, CA).
