Fans at Wednesday's league battle between the Palma Chieftains (Salinas, CA) and the visiting Pacific Grove Breakers (Pacific Grove, CA), saw Palma's soccer squad triumph over Pacific Grove by a count of 5-0.

The Chieftains (7-6) will now prepare for their battle against Gonzales (Gonzales, CA). The Spartans enter the PCAL - Cypress battle with a 7-8 record. In their last battle, Gonzales tipped King City (King City, CA), 4-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Breakers confront the Santa Catalina Cougars (Monterey, CA) in a PCAL - Cypress battle, on Tuesday, February 11. Pacific Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record.
