In Wednesday's non-league contest, the visiting Windsor Dukes basketball team scored a good 30-19 triumph over the Appomattox Regional Governor's Arts & Tech Dragons.
The Dukes (3-12) will now prepare for their contest against Surry County (Dendron, VA). The Cougars go into the non-league contest with a 6-10 record. In their last battle, Surry County lost by Franklin (Franklin, VA), 54-33, in a non-league battle.
The Dragons now own a 1-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Franklin for a battle on Friday, February 7. Appomattox Regional Governor's Arts & Tech will meet a Broncos squad coming off a 54-33 non-league win over Surry County (Dendron, VA). The Broncos record now stands at 6-8.
