In Wednesday's non-league test, the Genesee Valley Jaguars (Belmont, NY) basketball squad trounced the visiting Avoca Central Tigers (Avoca, NY), by a final score of 64-22.
With the victory, Genesee Valley upgrades its record to 2-2 on the year. The Jaguars host Cuba-Rushford (Cuba, NY) to face the Rebels in a non-league match on Friday, February 7. The Rebels enter the match with a record of 1-0.
The Tigers now sport a 2-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Arkport Central for a non-league match on Friday, February 7. Avoca Central will face a Bluejays squad coming off a 46-43 non-league loss to Canisteo-Greenwood (Canisteo, NY). The Bluejays record now stands at 1-1.
