In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host James River Midlothian Rapids basketball team scored a close 53-50 victory over the Cosby Titans.
With the victory, James River Midlothian advances its record to 6-4 on the year. The Rapids travel to Clover Hill (Midlothian, VA) to meet the Cavaliers in a non-league battle on Thursday, February 6. The Cavaliers enter the battle with a record of 1-10.
The Titans now own a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Midlothian for a non-league battle on Friday, February 7. Cosby will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 49-37 non-league loss to Monacan (Richmond, VA). The Trojans record now stands at 7-7.
