E.E. Smith Golden Bulls (Fayetteville, NC) supporters left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Harnett Central Trojans (Angier, NC), 48-47 in a league match.
With the victory, E.E. Smith advances its record to 6-8 on the year. The Golden Bulls host Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Friday, February 7. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 9-4. Terry Sanford won 71-59 in their recent non-league match against Triton (Erwin, NC)
The Trojans now own a 14-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pine Forest for a match on Friday, February 7. Harnett Central will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 73-56 league loss to Triton (Erwin, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 7-10.
