The Lord Botetourt Cavaliers basketball team scored 55 points and limited the visiting Staunton River Golden Eagles to 17 in the Cavaliers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Cavaliers now possess a 11-7 record. They play next when they host Northside for a non-league game on Friday, February 7. Lord Botetourt will play a Vikings team coming off a 69-61 non-league win over George Washington (Danville, VA). The Vikings record now stands at 15-2.

With the loss, Staunton River falls to 6-14 on the campaign. The Golden eagles travel to William Campbell (Naruna, VA) to play the Generals in a non-league game on Thursday, February 6. The Generals go into the game with a record of 2-15. William Campbell lost 52-39 in their recent non-league game against Chatham (Chatham, VA)
