North Carolina High School Basketball - Washington County trounced by Martin County

The Washington County Panthers basketball squad (Plymouth, NC), was crushed 68-32 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Martin County Gators (Williamston, NC)

With the victory, Martin County advances its record to 10-6 on the year. The Gators host North East Carolina Prep (Tarboro, NC) to meet the Husky in a non-league battle on Friday, February 7. The Husky enter the battle with a record of 2-11.

The Panthers now own a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Martin County for a battle on Tuesday, February 11. Washington County will meet a Gators squad coming off a 78-22 non-league win over North East Carolina Prep (Tarboro, NC). The Gators record now stands at 11-6.
