The crowd at Wednesday's league challenge between the Mt. Shasta Bears (Mt. Shasta, CA) and the host Trinity Wolves (Weaverville, CA), observed Mt. Shasta's basketball team knock off Trinity by a score of 58-46.

The Bears (16-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Fall River (McArthur, CA). The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 2-14 record. In their last challenge, Fall River was knocked off by Trinity (Weaverville, CA), 67-36, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Wolves encounter the Weed Cougars (Weed, CA) in a challenge, on Friday, February 7. Trinity will attempt to improve on its 12-9 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 3-10 record after their 52-48 league win over Etna (Etna, CA).
