The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Salem Spartans (Salem, VA) and the visiting Radford Bobcats (Radford, VA), observed Salem's basketball team overwhelm Radford by a margin of 50-26.

The Spartans (16-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Patrick Henry (Roanoke, VA). The Patriots come into the non-league challenge with a 9-2 record.

In their next game, the Bobcats battle the James River Knights (Buchanan, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 6. Radford will attempt to better on its 4-14 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 41-40 non-league win over Carroll County (Hillsville, VA).
