The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 9-8. Jonesboro won 55-41 in their recent league bout against Aquilla (Aquilla, TX)

Next up, the play the Cranfills Gap Lions (Cranfills Gap, TX) in a 1A Region IV District 25 bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Gholson will attempt to upgrade on its 1-16 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 6-6 record after their 60-52 league win over Mount Calm (Mount Calm, TX).
