Fans at Monday's league challenge between the West Lyon Wildcats (Inwood, IA) and the visiting Boyden-Hull Comets (Hull, IA), saw West Lyon's basketball squad wallop Boyden-Hull by a count of 72-44.

With the victory, West Lyon upgrades its record to 13-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Sibley-Ocheyedan (Sibley, IA) to play the Generals in a Siouxland challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Generals come into the challenge with a record of 5-16. Sibley-Ocheyedan lost 86-26 in their recent league challenge against Central Lyon (Rock Rapids, IA)

Next up, the Comets play the Sioux Center Warriors (Sioux Center, IA) in a Siouxland challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Boyden-Hull will attempt to upgrade on its 8-11 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 10-7 record after their 76-62 league loss to Central Lyon (Rock Rapids, IA).
