In Monday's league match, the host Midway Panthers basketball team scored a tight 69-66 triumph over the Bryan Vikings.
In their next game, the Panthers meet the Hutto Hippos (Hutto, TX) in a 6A Region II District 12 match, on Friday, February 10. Midway will attempt to better on its 15-15 season record.
With the defeat, Bryan moves to 15-14 on the year. The Vikings travel to Harker Heights (Harker Heights, TX) to meet the Knights in a 6A Region II District 12 match on Tuesday, February 7. The Knights enter the match with a record of 19-8. Harker Heights won 68-43 in their recent league match against Temple (Temple, TX)
