The Central Lyon Lions basketball team scored 76 points and held the visiting Sioux Center Warriors to 62 in the Lions league triumph on Monday.

The Lions now sport a 13-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host George-Little Rock for a Siouxland contest on Tuesday, February 7. Central Lyon will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 67-44 league loss to MOC-Floyd Valley (Orange City, IA). The Mustangs record now stands at 10-9.

The Warriors (10-7) will now prepare for their contest against Boyden-Hull (Hull, IA). The Comets enter the Siouxland contest with a 8-11 record. In their last contest, Boyden-Hull was defeated by West Lyon (Inwood, IA), 72-44, in a league contest.
