Tennessee High School Basketball - Cocke County can't hold off Claiborne

The Claiborne Bulldogs basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting Cocke County Fighting Cocks to 60 in the Bulldogs league victory on Monday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 4-17 record. They put it on the line next when they host Union County for a non-league contest on Friday, February 10. Claiborne will battle a Patriots team coming off a 68-60 non-league win over Hancock County (Sneedville, TN). The Patriots record now stands at 9-9.
The Fighting Cocks (16-10) will now prepare for their contest against Greeneville (Greeneville, TN). The Green Devils come into the 3A District 2 contest with a 14-10 record. In their last contest, Greeneville edged Knoxville Catholic (Knoxville, TN), 58-56, in a non-league contest.
