Colonial Beach Drifters (Colonial Beach, VA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting West Point Pointers (West Point, VA), 60-23 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Colonial Beach upgrades its record to 3-15 on the campaign. The Drifters host Northumberland (Heathsville, VA) to play the Indians in a Northern Neck bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Indians come into the bout with a record of 8-9. Northumberland won 69-39 in their recent non-league bout against King & Queen Central (King & Queen Court House, VA)

Next up, the Pointers play the Charles City Panthers (Charles City, VA) in a Tidewater battle, on Tuesday, February 7. West Point will attempt to improve on its 1-19 season record. The Panthers come into the battle with a 8-12 record after their 59-56 league win over King William (King William, VA).
